A CSA subscription box is like having your own garden where you get to eat all the fresh veggies you can imagine. Each week or every other week) you will receive a box packed full of the freshest veggies possible. All produce is personally grown, cared for, and picked on our farm in Elsie, OR by Chris and Sarah. Your produce literally comes straight from our field to your door. We use natural and sustainable practices for all the produce we grow. Your prepaid subscription supports local small farmers and helps keep your food dollars in the local community.
Food insecurity is a problem. We love to grow food and want to help lessen food insecurity in our community. Last year we made decisions to be a part of the solution. We were able to donate over 700 pounds of produce to organizations in Portland, Oregon that will get it to people that need it. Our goal is to donate even more. When you support our farm you help us share our harvest with people that need it.
All delivery box options contain the same amount and type of produce. The only difference is the frequency of delivery.
Since we are a farm run by only two farmers, we have found that it is most efficient for us to provide only one box size that is delivered weekly or bi-weekly. Since we pick and pack most items the day before delivering them to your door, most produce can remain fresh for two weeks when stored properly.

Why aren't we certified organic?
Primarily, it's the cost and time. We are only two farmers. Certification requires a significant financial investment and involves extensive paperwork and bureaucracy. Essentially, certification entails years of tracking and reporting. Unfortunately, with the availability of organic foods in mainstream outlets like Walmart, the added time and cost no longer bring the premium they once did. Therefore, instead, we choose to invest that extra time and money in enhancing soil quality and fostering biodiversity on our land.
We grow 95% heirloom varieties, 100% non-GMO
21 heirloom tomatoes varieties, we LOVE tomatoes!
